The One Updates

Hey guys, I know that the recent chapters of The One have been a little weird, but here's an update for you guys.

Yes, I have been busy, so scans haven't come as fast for the past few months. I do appreciate that another group has picked up the slack. I also do really appreciate all the support you guys have given me. It's really very flattering, thank you. However, I wouldn't bash on the other group. Here's why:

The translator for the other girl emailed me recently saying that she had translated them and posted them on MF while waiting for my translations to come out. A scanslation group got in touch with her and asked for her permission to upload the typeset version, and she agreed thinking that I was also contacted, which I was not. When she found that out (after the release of 87), she thought that the project should be dropped. 


She also posted the translations of 88, and those were released without her go ahead either. She is really sorry (even though it's totally not her fault!), and she's so sweet, so it is really sad that people are bashing on her ): So I told her that it's fine--leave the chp 88 up for readers, and I will return with chp 89.


The other scanslation group did get in touch with me to ask if I had started work on the chapter. I replied saying that I had, but their return email was invalid, so I never got in touch with them. Then they emailed me a couple hours later saying they were done. So... =_______= That's the story. If you are that group and would like to get in touch with me, please provide a valid email that I can reply to. :\


ANYWAY, the point is that I am still on this project and I will be come back. These two chapters were unplanned things. I love all you guys, and be nice :)



ALSO I have vol 12 of VB Rose ^-^. I'm going to whip out my scanner hopefully this afternoon, but it's definitely on my goals to finish before my break ends on Sunday.

***MEGA IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***

Hey guys, I have something really exciting to share with you guys. Read below for more information.

So, I was talking to my friend the other day, and she was telling me about her experience on an agricultural commune. Basically, they live in a really isolated area and do everything naturally. They grow their own food, and I think that's really great because everything is done naturally. There aren't any pesticides or nasty chemicals in the food, and the animals are treated without cruelty, and they aren't injected with hormones either.

Also, they only use natural product in their daily lives. They make their own soap out of animal fats, so they don't have to buy anything processed. This kind of self-sufficiency is so rare to come by in the modern day world, and I'm so impressed by everything that they do. I really admire that kind of independence from the products pushed out by large corporations. I, too, would really like to live that way.

I talked to my mom for a while about it, and she totally supports me with my decision. I'm going to quit school, and move out into an agricultural commune in the middle of the woods. Of course, the commune doesn't have any internet or electricity or anything like that, so here's the important part. I'm not going to be able to have a computer anymore. I'm really sad about that, though I'm excited for my new life. I've made so many friends on here, and I don't want to leave you all, but I think it's for the best. When I'm gone, I'm sure that someone will pick up all the projects.

But if they don't, I thought I'd tell you what happens at the end of "The One," at least. So basically, Lele goes to Paris and she becomes a super famous model, even more famous than Feidna. But she starts getting a creepy stalker, who follows her everywhere and sends her threatening messages. She starts getting really freaked out and tells Eros about it. They hire someone to protect her, but it's not enough. One day, the creepy stalker sneaks into the apartment she's sharing with Eros, and Eros wakes up to protect her. He gets shot in the chest, while Lele runs away, heartbroken. Because she can't risk being found again, she disappears from the modeling world and instead works as a waitress at a restaurant, living out the rest of her days in poverty, always cherishing the memories she had of a glamorous life of fashion.

Anyway, I hope that resolved any last questions that you guys had about it. Oh, and one last thing

The One Chp 87

... was not done by me! It was done by another group, which I'm slightly annoyed at (not because they scanslated it--I'm glad that readers are now able to read the chapter) because they didn't tell me they were working on it, so I had already spent hours on the chapter that I could have used to finish all my other work XP 

Well... make sure to check MF or MT or whatever manga websites you read on. I won't be posting chp 87!  EDIT: I've posted the pages I scanslated below. I will not finish this chapter, but I will continue on with chp 88 next time.

Also, thank you so much for all of your kind comments on my previous post. I didn't reply to any of them, but I read them all and I want you guys to know how much I appreciate your support <3

Finding Motivation

Recently, I've been feeling stuck in a rut. In such a state, it's hard to get up and do anything. I suppose that procrastination plagues even the most hardworking and best of us. But it's certainly hit me hard, especially when it counts right now.

Has this happened to any of you recently? What have you done to help yourself start working again? I need some advice so that I can sort my own life out a bit :)

Everything is just a little chaotic now. I hope you are all doing well xx

On a side note, I unexpectedly got into a summer program that I applied for. It's like a research summer camp for math/science, and I was definitely not expecting to get accepted. So it's definitely a pleasant surprise, but I think I'm still feeling a bit unhappy at the moment. Meh, I didn't intend for this to be a self-pity party, but it is what it is. If you have tips for that too, let me know :)

Anyways, anything exciting happening in your lives?

Project Updates

I thought I'd do a quick post to tell you about status on projects, since I've been receiving a lot of messages about them. I hope this will address all your questions.


I am currently working on The One. It should be out soon, hopefully! I'd say to expect it within the week.

I've placed an order on VB Rose vol. 12. After I've scanned it all, translation needs to start. I hope to continue on with the project so that I can finish it.

Paradise City is currently lowest on my priorities. I will work on it when I have time.

A personal post coming soon, I think. Look forward to it, as well as The One 87!

The One Chp 86

No, this is not a dream. Really, this is a new chapter. Hahaha. Yes, this chapter is late, but I don't feel like I have to apologize for it because of all the crises in my life right now. I would, however, like to thank all the kind commenters who have been supportive of me even when the chapter was late in coming. I really appreciate it a lot. Anyway, here is the chapter. Aiya Semester 1 is Over!

I'm so glad. I've been away from this blog for so long, and I have missed it. I will try picking it up now in time for the next chapter of "The One"!

Anyway, all my grades almost look A-okay (lol, geddit?), except ONE 89.03, darn you physics. One would think that if a person is good at math, she should also be good at physics, right? Nope. Well, I'll see what I got on my final test ^-^

How is everyone else's life going?

Hmm, let me see if I have any new news going on:
- finished a couple deadlines for stuff--summer applications, novel competition, homework obviously
- I'm auditioning for a musical! "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." I'm gunning for Marcy Park, the only part I'm ever likely to get in a play ahhaha. I'll attach one of her songs.

Isn't it awesome? Anyway, the musical is really adorable and cute, and it would be so awesome to get in. If not, I'll do tech like I always do :) Not a big deal. Boo, well I hope my throat gets better by Monday haha.
- IB ENGLISH ORALS ARE COMING UP for those of you who understand the suffering of IB haha. I always sound so awkward when I speak. I'll work on that ;)
- I'm reading this really good book, it's called 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. I'd highly recommend it if you're interested in literary works! On a related note, Silver the manga finished like last month, so if you want to read it, I would also recommend that ^-^
- I get my paycheck tomorrow--yeeeeee! I can buy more food haha. Also, makeup. There are so many nice pretty things coming out in spring.. (look up MAC shop, shop shop, cook cook, cook collection). @____@ Anyway, totally unrelated and rambly at this point hehe. I'll sign off now!
