The One Chp 87

... was not done by me! It was done by another group, which I'm slightly annoyed at (not because they scanslated it--I'm glad that readers are now able to read the chapter) because they didn't tell me they were working on it, so I had already spent hours on the chapter that I could have used to finish all my other work XP 

Well... make sure to check MF or MT or whatever manga websites you read on. I won't be posting chp 87!  EDIT: I've posted the pages I scanslated below. I will not finish this chapter, but I will continue on with chp 88 next time.

Finding Motivation

Recently, I've been feeling stuck in a rut. In such a state, it's hard to get up and do anything. I suppose that procrastination plagues even the most hardworking and best of us. But it's certainly hit me hard, especially when it counts right now.

Has this happened to any of you recently? What have you done to help yourself start working again? I need some advice so that I can sort my own life out a bit :)

Everything is just a little chaotic now. I hope you are all doing well xx

On a side note, I unexpectedly got into a summer program that I applied for. It's like a research summer camp for math/science, and I was definitely not expecting to get accepted. So it's definitely a pleasant surprise, but I think I'm still feeling a bit unhappy at the moment. Meh, I didn't intend for this to be a self-pity party, but it is what it is. If you have tips for that too, let me know :)

Anyways, anything exciting happening in your lives?

Project Updates

I thought I'd do a quick post to tell you about status on projects, since I've been receiving a lot of messages about them. I hope this will address all your questions.


I am currently working on The One. It should be out soon, hopefully! I'd say to expect it within the week.

I've placed an order on VB Rose vol. 12. After I've scanned it all, translation needs to start. I hope to continue on with the project so that I can finish it.

Paradise City is currently lowest on my priorities. I will work on it when I have time.

A personal post coming soon, I think. Look forward to it, as well as The One 87!

No, this is not a dream. Really, this is a new chapter. Hahaha. Yes, this chapter is late, but I don't feel like I have to apologize for it because of all the crises in my life right now. I would, however, like to thank all the kind commenters who have been supportive of me even when the chapter was late in coming. I really appreciate it a lot. Anyway, here is the chapter. Aiya Semester 1 is Over!

I'm so glad. I've been away from this blog for so long, and I have missed it. I will try picking it up now in time for the next chapter of "The One"!

Anyway, all my grades almost look A-okay (lol, geddit?), except ONE 89.03, darn you physics. One would think that if a person is good at math, she should also be good at physics, right? Nope. Well, I'll see what I got on my final test ^-^

How is everyone else's life going?

Hmm, let me see if I have any new news going on:
- finished a couple deadlines for stuff--summer applications, novel competition, homework obviously
- I'm auditioning for a musical! "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." I'm gunning for Marcy Park, the only part I'm ever likely to get in a play ahhaha. I'll attach one of her songs.

Isn't it awesome? Anyway, the musical is really adorable and cute, and it would be so awesome to get in. If not, I'll do tech like I always do :) Not a big deal. Boo, well I hope my throat gets better by Monday haha.
- IB ENGLISH ORALS ARE COMING UP for those of you who understand the suffering of IB haha. I always sound so awkward when I speak. I'll work on that ;)
- I'm reading this really good book, it's called 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. I'd highly recommend it if you're interested in literary works! On a related note, Silver the manga finished like last month, so if you want to read it, I would also recommend that ^-^
- I get my paycheck tomorrow--yeeeeee! I can buy more food haha. Also, makeup. There are so many nice pretty things coming out in spring.. (look up MAC shop, shop shop, cook cook, cook collection). @____@ Anyway, totally unrelated and rambly at this point hehe. I'll sign off now!

Hooray for a new chapter, a tad late. I've been so busy this month. So many deadlines to meet. I'll update everything soon hopefully. It's 5AM though and my wrist hurts. I should go to sleep.

Happy 2012 Everybody!

Okay, I have a really important question. Please vote for it in the poll ------>
It is truly one of the most vital questions we must face in the coming year. :D Anyway, I just thought I'd come on here and wish everybody a Happy New Year and post a little tidbit about my own thoughts on 2012.

First of all, I am a little as;dlkfja;lsdjfk because my birthday is in exactly a week hehehe. It's not because I'll get presents or a party or anything, but it's the sheer thought that I am growing. It's kind of strange, but whatever :)

I feel like I have so many things to look forward to this year, and in the future, so I will definitely work harder to achieve my goals. Some of goals currently include:

1. Get VB Rose vol. 12 done!
2. Keep on track for Paradise City/The One
(non manhua-related)
3. Do more work and do some independent learning
4. Read more nonfiction!
5. Lose some weight =____= (all those Christmas cookies.....) But then again, I say this every year hahahhaha.
6. Finish summer program apps!
7. Get good scores on all my tests =____=
8. Finish college apps
9. Finish personal projects

Aiya! So much work for 366 days this year. What are some of your goals? Are you guys looking forward to the future?

ALSO, I would be remiss in discussing 2012 without discussing the end of the world, yes? Truthfully, I don't believe in it. In any case, I would be pretty sad if I put all that work into college apps only to have the world end before I get to go >___> I mean, it's mostly just a silly superstition, and I don't believe that the apocalypse is approaching. However, rumors of a pending world destruction will remind me to constantly try to live my life out to the fullest.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this year. I have a feeling it will be a good one for me! Let me know what you guys did to celebrate New Year's and what you're looking forward to this year!
